Factory Profiles

In today's world, clothing and other lightly manufactured products sold in the United States comes from over 100 countries around the world. ILRF is alerted to various concerns and problems at many workplaces through workers, labor allied nonprofits/NGOs, and trade unions.

In many factories, workers report the following:

  • Nonpayment of minimum wage
  • Very high production quotas that often require them to work long hours everyday
  • Discrimination against workers that are part of a union
  • Training by factory management on how to lie to inspectors that come to the factory

ILRF has begun to compile information about the factory cases. Below is a list of factories where workers have reported problems:
