In its effort to create Freedom at Work, the ILRF seeks to bring international attention to cases where worker’s rights to organize are being repressed. Freedom of association and the right to form labor unions make up one of the four fundamental standards recognized by the International Labor Organization (ILO).

The abuse of contract labor and employment agencies has become a growing problem for the survival and strengthening of unions.
