This report provides an introduction to the Colombian flower industry, its exploitation of women, and the struggle of Colombian flower workers for justice, as well as what allies in the United States can do to support these workers. Its analysis is based on contributions, reports and testimonies from flower workers, trade unionists and activists, mainly in Colombia, and on a combination of independent research, public materials and company documents.

This video provides real testimony from one of Lipton's 730 temporary workers in Khanewal, Pakistan. These workers are outsourced by an agency, denied all benefits entitled to the 22 regular workers and cannot join the workers' union. Workers want Unilever (Lipton's owner) to recognize them as real employees so that they can bargain for decent work!
